Sunday forecast? Cloudy with a chance of FedEx Cup chaos

For all its flaws, the FedEx Cup offers plenty of positives, not the least of which is an opportunity to see the game’s top players in a series of events outside of the major championships.

That has again been the case this year with Nos. 1, 2 and 3 in the world rankings (Jason Day, Rory McIlroy and Jordan Spieth) all part of the storyline at East Lake Golf Club. With the top ranking in flux, the overall FedEx Cup title is on the line Sunday during the final round of the Tour Championship.
