Jordan Spieth wins FedEx Cup title

For all intents and purposes, they were ushered into the season side-by-side, on the grandest stage (Augusta National), beneath a major spotlight (the Masters).

That five months ago Jordan Spieth tossed down a 64-66 against Henrik Stenson’s 73-73 — a tidy 16-stroke difference — was certainly not easy for the big Swede to forget. But had Stenson needed a reminder, Spieth delivered one at the close of the season, putting forth a weekend clinic in how to play in the clutch, his 68-69 against Stenson’s 72-72 completing sweet symmetry wrapped around a double-dose of Georgia magic.
