PGA Tour rookie Patton Kizzire’s road to the big show

Patton Kizzire earned his PGA TOUR Card after a standout season on the 2015 Web.com Tour circuit.

Kizzire was born in Montgomery, Alabama and played his collegiate golf at Auburn University.He earned all-Southeastern Conference first team honors in 2006–07. He won the 2007 SEC Championship. Kizzire also placed third at the 2003 U.S. Junior Open. Patton is one of the tallest players on the Web.com Tour, standing at 6 foot 5. He has drawn comparisons to golfers, such as, Ernie Els and Davis Love III for his stature and loose golf swing.[
