Ping’s unique two-toned golf balls left the scene in the mid-1990’s, but they’ve since developed a strong collector following. In fact, some of the more rare color combinations drawing as much as $1,000 per ball. One such collector is currently trying to sell his entire collection on eBay for a mere $21,000.
Many players used to particularly enjoy putting with the balls because of the ease of alignment and the feedback they produced when watching them roll.
