How Augusta National played

This was a difficult Masters. Only six players finished under par after 72 holes, led by Danny Willet’s 5-under 283 total (70-74-72-67). It was the highest winning score since Zach Johnson won with a 1-over total in 2007.  Players faced cold temperatures and strong winds for much of the week. The greens were firm and fast, leading to many testing putts for par.
